There are two parts to setting up the Control Room. Firstly, double-click the Winsock Setup'
program in the "program files\powamaxx" folder on the DVR. The following screen will then be
displayed.
Do NOT change data ports unless absolutely required. If you have to change these, then
make sure that the settings for remote view and the control room are also changed as
described in the
Help file.
The Control Room settings are made as follows:

Enter the IP address of dynamic DNS of the control room.
- Specify the cameras for which video is to be sent to the central Control Room. This can be
typed as 1,2,5,7 or 1-8 for a range, or any combination of the two e.g. 1,2,6-12.
- Set the start and end times for weekdays (Monday to Friday) and for Saturday and
Sunday. Note that the start time for Mon-Fri settings could be later than the end time e.g.
16:30 to 07:00 or earlier e.g. 06:00 to 24:00. By contrast, the weekend settings would
always have a start time which is earlier than the end time.
The second part of the setup is to change the ports if they have been changed on the DVR.
The control room setup is accessed from the program files\powamaxx folder on the control
room PC. Run the "Control Room Setup.exe" program to change the settings.
