Controls:
The arrow controls pan the camera left and right and up and down. When a
button is clicked, the camera will turn in that direction. It is not necessary to
keep clicking the arrow - the camera will continue to turn in the desired
direction until the cursor is moved off the control.
Below the arrow controls are the Zoom, Focus and Iris controls with plus and
minus buttons to control these functions.
Clicking the Setup button causes the setup portoin of the window to drop
down as shown below:

Set the number of the camera that that which you want to view. Changing the
preset number causes the camera to go to that preset number.
The port setting specifies the serial port to which the RS232 to RS485
converter is connected and the IP address specifies the IP of the PC to which
the PTZ is attached.
INSTALLATION
The Remote PTZ control must be installed on the remote PC and the Host
PTZ control is installed on the Powamaxx DVR. The Host program must be
running for the Remote program to work.
Development and testing was done with a VideoTrek 460 high-speed dome
and an RS323 to RS485 converter from 3A corporation (www.3a.com.tw)
The dome was set for Pelco P (dip switch on SW3 set ON), 4800 baud (dip
switch 4 on SW3 set ON) and termination on (dip switch 8 on SW3 ON). All
the dip switches on SW2 (address) were off to indicate cameras address 0.
The yellow wire from the dome was connected to connection 3 on the RS485
converter and the red wire to connection 2. The converter switches were set
to DCE, SIM and the handshaking switch was set to middle position (RTS).
