Camera Display Configuration
The icons on the left of the Powamaxx icon define the on-screen camera configuration. Clicking on an icon will cause the cameras to be rearranged in the selected configuration. From left to right, 1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 10,13 or 16 cameras would be displayed. When you exit Powamaxx, it remembers the last configuration for the next time it is started.

Note that you will not be able to select camera display configuration icons which have more cameras than are available e.g. you cannot select a 16 camera display when you only have 8 cameras.

The icons to the right of the Powamaxx icon have the following functions:

Matrix
The Matrix button allows you to define what cameras are to be shown in which box, whether they are to be shown permanently or whether cameras are to be sequentially switched.

For instance, if your system had 8 cameras attached, but you wanted to view the cameras in a 4-camera format, you could use the matrix to define that box 1 would show camera 3, box 2 would show camera 5, box 3 would cycle through cameras 1, 2 and 4 and that box 4 would cycle through cameras 6,7 and 8. You would also define the number of seconds that the camera is to be displayed before switching to the next camera.  More...

Cams
The Cams button allows you to set various parameters for each camera including frame size, idle frame rate, brightness, contrast etc.  More...

Setup
The Setup button takes you to the setup menu where you can define which hard disks are to be used for recording, set password and user authorities and define parameters for text overlay such as size, colour and font.  More...

Files
The Files icon allows you to select, playback and view recorded files.  More...

Info
Clicking on the Info button allows you to view information about the computer on which the card is installed, as well as information about the digital surveillance card or cards and also information about the settings of each camera and about the days which have been recorded for each camera versus how many days the installation requires.  More...

Help
The Help button displays this help program. If you press the F1 key from any Powamaxx screen, the appropriate help section will be displayed.

Hide
The Hide button causes the Powamaxx screen to be minimized to the Windows task bar. Clicking the task bar entry causes Powamaxx to be maximized again.

Exit
The exit button closes the Powamaxx application.

Note that the Matrix, Cams, Setup, Hide and Exit functions are defined as authorized. When any of these buttons are clicked, you will be requested to select a user name and enter a password. This information will not need to be re-entered again while you are busy with authorized functions. When you are finished with authorized screens, the access authority will automatically be reset after 5 minutes.
