General instructions are shown on the screen above. To access the files you want, first click
on a camera in the box in the upper right corner of the screen. Next select the date from the
box below that, and finally select the time from the box below that. In the recorded file box, you
are also shown the size of the file which is a good indication of where the movement has
been.
The red blocks indicate the relative size of the files. Small blocks indicate little activity while
the longer blocks are the result of lots of movement. Using this facility can often be invaluable
in locating movement quickly.
Once you have clicked on a file, it will automatically begin to play. When this happens, the
camera, date and time selection boxes will be hidden. In order to redisplay these boxes,
simply left-click on the image. Click again to hide the selection boxes.
Playback occurs in full screen mode and the various controls are "floated" over the video
being played back.
The information fields shown on the playback screen are shown below and are as follows:
-- date and time when recorded,
-- resolution of the file images,
-- frames per second and
-- percentage of file played.
The controls used in the file player are as described above in the "How to use powamaxx
playa" information box.
